The trip is a time for veterans to visit the memorials built for their sacrifice and to truly honor them for their service. Due to generous donors, the veterans make the 3-day trip at no cost to them. The trip will include visits to the WWII, Lincoln, Korea, Vietnam, Marine Corps, Navy, FDR and MLK Memorials, plus Arlington National Cemetery for the Changing of the Guard Ceremony, and women veterans go to the Military Women’s Memorial.
The homecoming for this flight of heroes will be Sunday, May 3rd in the afternoon (Time TBD) at San Diego International Airport. More details to come.
